My Maternity Photo Shoot Approach:
Let me walk you through my maternity photo shoot approach.
Once you have booked a session, we will connect via Zoom. This zoom session is our first point of contact, and I ensure to note as many details as possible. Next, I will ask you questions to help us make this shoot memorable.
Subsequently, I learn and understand your expectations and needs. I advise my clients to ask as many questions as they like. I want you to be mentally and emotionally prepared for what’s in store.
Additionally, we decide on the color palette and tones. This enables me to create unique portraits that are flawless down to the skin tones.
As a bonus, I bring a gorgeous, colorful wardrobe of 50+ custom dresses. You can bring your clothes for the shoot or use my wardrobe. It is my advice that you consider getting your hair done professionally. You don’t have to go overboard, but a lovely hairstyle is always welcomed.
Once we have established a good understanding, I will help you decide what location works best for you.
The ideal time for a maternity photo shoot is 30-34 weeks, when your baby bump is most visible and it’s easier for you to shoot. I offer you maternity photo shoots in Asheville and surrounding areas within the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Other locations I cover include Max Patch, Bear Wallow, Craggy Gardens, Black Balsam Knob, and Triple Falls. Many of these locations have a slight hike. However, I ensure that it’s never a strenuous hike or an area that’s inaccessible to you.
Lastly, we work on the photography poses. My greatest achievement is bringing out your personality and capturing your growing body’s beauty. Each picture encapsulates the story you want to share with the rest of the world. I also guide your partner all through the shoot, so they add that extra charm.
